I want to make a quick note of Ezra's first words since this blog really serves as the only sort of record I keep and use to reference when I someday soon put together his baby book. He said his first word, "bye-bye", not too long after his ten month birthday. Since then he has added to his repertoire: "ducky," "quack-quack,""cracker," "mama" and, just today, "go". Today we celebrated his 1st birthday (a little early, the actual date is March 12) with my family. Much like Myles, Ezra is much more talkative after being around so many people for a day. He loved the attention. And the cake.

I cannot tell you how exuberant I am that you named your children Myles and Ezra- I wish more people would pull out good lovely, meaty names like that from history... Bonus points to you!
